Description

In our Leaf Hoppers program, we foster children's innate desire to
engage with the world around them, encouraging awareness and
understanding alongside play, imagination and creative thinking. In
order to keep our littlest participants comfortable, we also mentor and
model strong self-awareness and self-care skills, so being outdoors can
be fun and supportive to the body as well as the soul. A day in the life
of a Leaf Hopper will include stories, songs, games, nature exploration
and crafts. As a by-product of the way we interact with and guide
children, they will also learn a lot about care for others and the
earth, healthy communication and boundaries, and group dynamics. Through
our philosophy, we not only help children learn about and connect with
the world around them, but do so in a way that builds resilience,
confidence and a sense of proficiency.
